Great Wall Mountain Trail Introduction
The Wanjin Great Wall Hiking Trail, located in Dadu District, is situated in the Boan Forest Area on the southwestern side of Dadu Mountain Terrace. It is named the Wanjin Great Wall because the entire trail winds like a great wall. The one-way hiking trail takes about an hour to complete, with beautiful forest scenery on both sides, and lush flora. From afar, you can enjoy the picturesque view of the green mountains and the bright scenery of the Dadu Hills. In the lush greenery of the forest, you can enjoy the fresh air and admire the sunset. The Boan Forest Hiking Trail is located on the western foothills of Dadu Mountain, offering a serene hiking route. It is recommended to spend 1 to 2 hours here, depending on your fitness level and time. At several points along the trail, you can gaze out over the Taichung coastal plain, and on clear days, you can see the Taiwan Strait. At the hiking trail entrance, there is a pavilion square. It is suggested to not only come for hiking but also to bring food and share a meal with friends and family in this forest. Don't forget to take your garbage with you when you leave; we all need to work together to maintain the natural environment!
