Great Wall Hiking Trail Introduction
The Wànlǐ Chángchéng Hiking Trail, located in the Dadu District, is situated on the southwestern side of the Dadu Mountain Plateau within the Bao'an Forest area. It is named "Wànlǐ Chángchéng" because the entire trail meanders like the Great Wall. The one-way journey takes about an hour, and both sides of the trail are adorned with beautiful forests and blossoming trees. From the trail, visitors can enjoy the splendid views of the lush green Dadu Hills. Within this verdant forest, you can experience the refreshing scent of nature and appreciate the sunset at dusk. The Bao'an Forest Hiking Trail is located on the western foothills of Dadu Mountain, offering a serene hiking route. It is recommended to spend 1 to 2 hours here, arranging your visit according to your physical condition and time. Several viewpoints along the trail overlook the Taichung Coastal Plain, and on clear days, you can see the Taiwan Strait. At the trailhead, there is a pavilion square, making it a great place to bring food to share with friends and family.
