Great Wall Mountain Trail Introduction
The Wanli Great Wall Hiking Trail, located in Dadu District, is situated in the Baoan Forest Area on the southwestern side of Dadu Mountain. It is named the Wanli Great Wall because the entire trail winds like the Great Wall. The one-way journey takes about an hour, and the lush forests on both sides are beautiful, with flourishing flowers and greenery. From the trail, you can enjoy the stunning views of the emerald mountains and the vibrant scenery of the Dadu Hills. In the verdant forest, you can savor the natural phytoncides and admire the sunset at dusk. The Baoan Forest Hiking Trail is located on the western slope of Dadu Mountain and offers a tranquil hiking route. It is recommended to stay for 1 to 2 hours, depending on your fitness level and schedule. Several spots along the trail provide views of the Taichung Coastal Plain, and on clear days, you can see the Taiwan Strait. At the entrance of the trail, there is a pavilion square, and besides hiking, it is also suggested to bring food to share with family and friends in this mountainous area. Don't forget to take your trash with you when you leave; we all need to work together to maintain the forest environment!
