Great Wall Hiking Trail Introduction
The Wanfang Long Wall Hiking Trail, located in the Dadu District, is situated in the forestry area on the southwestern side of Dadu Mountain. It is named the Long Wall because the entire trail winds like the Great Wall. The one-way hike takes about 1 hour, with beautiful greenery on both sides, and stunning views of the lush hills of Dadu. Visitors can enjoy the phytoncides of nature in the verdant mountains and also appreciate the sunset. The Ba'an Forest Hiking Trail is located on the west slope of Dadu Mountain, offering a serene hiking route. It is recommended to spend 1 to 2 hours here, depending on your fitness and time management. Along several points of the trail, one can view the Taichung coastal plain and, on clear days, the Taiwan Strait. At the entrance of the trail, there is a pavilion square. Besides hiking here, it is also suggested to bring food and share a meal with friends and family in this forested area. Please remember to take your trash with you when you leave, as the mountain environment requires us to maintain it together!
