【Evaluation Validity Period: 2023/10/24~2026/10/23】 Taichung Distillery - Originally located on Fuxing Road in Taichung City, it moved to a new factory in the Taichung Industrial Park in July 1998 due to historical changes. To develop the tourism service industry, a Liquor Museum was built, showcasing many old machines preserved from the original plant. The historical introduction of liquor helps the public gain a deeper understanding of liquor culture. For educational promotion, the distillery offers guided tours of the liquor production process and teaches the public about liquor production and drinking concepts. The factory area features many green recreational landscapes, such as the Sanxian Pavilion, Courtyard Garden, and Dragon Spring, providing an excellent place for relaxation and intellectual pursuits on weekends. After relocating and reorganizing, in addition to the original focus on distilled rice wine and brewed yellow wine, it launched the traditional health-preserving liquor "Yongkang Wine" in 1999, which gained much consumer favor. In recent years, in response to changes in drinking trends, it continues to produce the most popular rice wine while also diversifying the development of new liquor products, including oligosaccharides, fruit vinegar, and red yeast rice products, and is committed to developing blended whiskey and grain whiskey, which have received positive feedback in the market. The distillery offers guided tours of the liquor production process and DIY experience activities, allowing participants to deepen their knowledge and interest in liquor and vinegar products through hands-on experience.
