The Lin Chih-Tsung Memorial Museum was originally the residence of Lin Chih-Tsung, built in 1928. It is a typical wooden dormitory building from the Japanese colonial period. In addition to preserving the original structure, it also witnesses the development of the urban area along the Liuchuan River, while documenting Lin Chih-Tsung's life and creative journey. In 2007, it was registered as a historical building under the name "Lin Chih-Tsung Studio" by Taichung City. In 2013, the National Taichung University of Education conducted a restoration and reutilization plan, and after repairs and preservation in 2015, it was opened to the public for free.
