In 2019, the Taichung City Government's Tourism Bureau renovated the Tonglin Mountain Trail in Wufeng District. This project mainly focused on the demolition and repair of the old trail, using handcrafted trail principles to construct wooden walkways along the route with wooden materials, and added rest platforms for visitor use.
