Taichung Mosque Introduction
The Taichung Mosque is located at No. 457, Dadun South Road, Nantun District, Taichung City. Completed in 1990 and fully renovated in 2020, it is currently the most Islamic-style building in Taiwan and the only Islamic architectural landmark in central Taiwan. The newly renovated structure references the colors and elements of the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, featuring a magnificent white dome, two towering minarets, and orange-tinted exterior walls complemented by eleven black-and-white striped large arches, making it arguably the most beautiful mosque in Taiwan.
