Taichung Mosque is located at No. 457, Dadu South Road, Nantun District, Taichung City. Completed in 1990 and fully renovated in 2020, it is currently the most Islamic-style building in Taiwan and the only Islamic architectural landmark in Central Taiwan. The newly renovated structure draws inspiration from the colors and elements of the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, featuring a magnificent white dome, two towering minarets, and a粉桔色 exterior with eleven black-and-white striped arches that resemble stone. It is considered the most beautiful mosque in Taiwan. Taichung Mosque is grand and majestic while also equipped with environmentally friendly solar power facilities. In 2020, it was awarded the Rooftop Green Energy Contribution Award by Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-yen, earning the honor of being a green energy religious site. Additionally, in 2020, it was selected for a stamp by Chunghwa Post that represents Taiwan's image. Taichung Mosque has become a popular spot for photography enthusiasts and visitors. It is currently the most Islamic-style building in Taiwan and the only Islamic architectural landmark in central Taiwan. The newly renovated building incorporates colors and elements from the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, featuring a magnificent white dome, two towering minarets, and eleven large archways resembling stone in black and white against a coral orange exterior, making it one of the most beautiful mosques in Taiwan. The Taichung Mosque is grand and solemn, also equipped with environmentally friendly solar power facilities. In 2020, it received the Rooftop Green Energy Contribution Award from Taichung City Mayor Lu Shiow-yen, earning the distinction of being a green energy religious site.
