IKEA Taichung Store Introduction
The IKEA Taichung store is located at the intersection of Xiangshang Road and Huiwen Road in Nantun District, directly across from Taichung Wenxin Forest Park. It is a standalone building with four above-ground floors and two underground levels, making it the largest IKEA in Taiwan, with a sales area of over 11,000 pings. The home decor department on the third floor occupies over 2,300 pings and showcases a wide variety of home decorative items that can be paired with different styles of furniture, offering diverse home arrangement solutions to create a better living space. The first SMÅLAND magical forest in Taiwan, where both adults and children can have fun, is introduced at the Taichung store's children's play area. The design is inspired by Sweden's SMÅLAND magical forest, featuring large wooden clogs for hide-and-seek and a giant ball pit representing blueberries and lingonberries. Children can enjoy jumping, climbing, running, and playing ball, and when they get tired, they can rest under the huge spruce tree, watch movies, or read books.
