Dafeng Nantian Temple (Cai Guanyin Temple) Introduction
Dafen Nantian Temple originally dedicated to Guangze Zunwang (Four Great Protectors). According to temple records, it was brought to Taiwan by a Chinese person who passed through Dapu. During the journey, this individual had a good conversation with the villagers and stayed for several days. Just as he was about to leave, Guangze Zunwang suddenly manifested and indicated that his golden body needed to settle in Dapu to protect the land and its people, as he had an important mission. However, at that time, Dapu had a sparse population and was economically struggling, so a simple straw altar was built for the enshrinement.
