Diamond Sand Bay Coast Introduction
Situated in the Yong'an District of Kaohsiung City, Diamond Sand Bay features fine, soft white sand and clear blue water, making it a beloved coastal destination for both locals and tourists. This location is not only ideal for sunbathing, beach volleyball, or building sandcastles, but also provides a perfect setting for family water play due to its gentle waves and clear water quality. In the evening, as the sun slowly sets on the horizon, the entire beach is bathed in a warm golden glow, creating a dreamy, romantic atmosphere. To enhance the uniqueness of this beach area, the Yong'an District Office collaborated with the Xinguang Community Development Association to creatively transform the coastline into an artistic paradise. The previously monotonous wave-dissipating blocks have been redesigned into shapes of seabirds, adding lively interest to the beach; discarded fishing boats have been refurbished into play areas for sand, attracting families to experience the fun. Additionally, swinging in the breeze while enjoying the fluttering fish flags also imparts a healing and leisurely atmosphere to this bay.
