Chen's Farm Introduction
Chen Family Farm is located on the hillside at the end of the picturesque Jiupeng Lake Rural Area. The main attractions of the farm include a restaurant, an orchard, and stag beetles during the summer. The restaurant offers Hakka cuisine and Lei Cha (ground tea), while the orchard mainly features high-quality water pears in the summer. As for the stag beetles, the farm's orchard has dozens of resplendent horned trees that the beetles love, attracting thousands of stag beetles and other beetles like scarab beetles to the tree trunks every June and July, making it an excellent ecological teaching site. Additionally, at Chen Family Farm, the owner, Chen Hsin-yuan, personally teaches children how to make traditional bamboo flutes from locally sourced materials, as well as crafting lifelike puppies from foxtail grass, which is a lot of fun!
