Chen's Farm Introduction
Chen Family Farm is located at the end of the hillside in the beautiful rural area of Jioucyun Lake. The restaurant, orchard, and summer stag beetles are the main attractions of the farm. The restaurant offers Hakka cuisine and lei cha (ground tea), while the orchard features the summer high-graft water pear as its highlight. As for the stag beetles, the farm's orchard has dozens of preferred light wax trees, where thousands of stag beetles and scarabs can be found active on the trunks every June and July, making it a great ecological education spot. Additionally, when visiting Chen Family Farm, the owner, Chen Hsin-yuan, personally teaches children how to make the long-lost bamboo flute with locally sourced materials, as well as crafting lifelike little dogs from foxtail grass, which is quite fun!
