Ding Dong Science Theme Park Introduction
The Little Ding-Dong Science Theme Park, which began operations in January 1990, was originally established under the name Hsinsheng Recreational Co., Ltd. It was funded by several enthusiastic shareholders in science education who built an outdoor amusement park themed around science education in Songbailing, Shangxing Village, Xinfeng Township, complementing the Hsinchu Science Park. The aim was to contribute to the groundwork of science education in Taiwan. The park was initially named Hsinfeng Recreational Garden, but later was renamed Little Ding-Dong Science Park to create a more vibrant identity, a name still used today. The Little Ding-Dong Science Theme Park has consistently adhered to science-oriented design, providing citizens with an enjoyable vacation experience while serving as the only outdoor experimental classroom for natural sciences in national education. Due to its unwavering commitment to these principles and its dedication to public service, the park has received the "Excellent" rating from the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for 19 consecutive years, which is the greatest encouragement for the company.
