Tiande Hall Introduction
Tiande Temple was built by local military and political leaders as well as wealthy merchants and is the largest temple of Tiande Religion in Taiwan, housing the formless ancient Buddha. Tiande Religion believes in a concept of "Dao" rather than worshiping idols. The temple is located on the west side of Songbailing, and after renovations, the plaza is a good place to fly kites and play. The ancient path downhill is a popular spot for local residents to exercise in the morning and walk in the evening. The plaza in front of the temple offers a view of Nanliao Fishing Port and a wind farm, making it an excellent vantage point known by word of mouth among the public.
