Shangpin Fragrance Orchard Introduction
The Nanping Village area in Xinpuxian, Hsinchu County, is the most densely populated region for planting water pears in Xinpu Township, with Shangpinxiang Orchard being one of them. Shangpinxiang Orchard produces three varieties: Fengshui pear, Honey pear (4029), and Xinxiang pear. Fengshui pears are typically harvested from mid-July to the end of July and can be sold until August. Honey pears are harvested from mid-July to the end of July and can be sold until early August. Xinxiang pears are harvested from the end of July to the end of August and can be sold until around the Double Tenth Festival. Due to climate factors and often selling out early, it is best to call in advance before placing an order.
