Shang Pin Xiang Fruit Orchard Introduction
The area of Nanping Village in Xinpou Town, Hsinchu County, is the most densely planted region for water pears in Xinpou Town, and Shangpinxiang Orchard is one of them. Shangpinxiang Orchard cultivates three varieties: Fengshui pear, Honey pear (4029), and Hsin Hsing pear. Fengshui pears are harvested from mid-July to the end of July, and they can be sold until August. Honey pears are harvested from mid-July to the end of July, and they can be sold until early August. Hsin Hsing pears are harvested from the end of July to the end of August and can be sold until around the Double Tenth Festival.
