Dashanbei Farm Introduction

The roads in this area mainly follow the Youluo River and run along the Dashanbei Mountain, making it an important citrus production area in Hsinchu County. In early summer, a large number of fireflies gather here, making it the most well-known firefly viewing spot in Hsinchu County. The Dashanbei Leisure Agriculture Area is centered around the Lexiantang community in the Hengshan Village. Dashanbei is renowned for its citrus production, with tourist orchards distributed in the hilly terrain surrounding Lexiantang. The citrus fruits are in peak season from December to March of the following year, showcasing local characteristics through Hakka culture and the pristine old trails. The establishment of the Dashanbei Leisure Agriculture Area aims to raise awareness among residents about preserving the rural culture and natural scenery of the Hengshan area.

Dashanbei Farm Travel Information

Address：No. 52, Dashanbei, Fengxiang Village, Hengshan Township, Hsinchu County

Transportation Methods：1. From the Guansi Interchange of National Highway No. 2, head towards Zhu Dong via Guansi on Taiwan Route 3 for sixteen kilometers to Hengshan. Turn left and continue for about six kilometers towards Wanrui Forest Recreation Area. There is a parking lot in front of Leshan Hall, and it's a 300-meter walk to the orchard. Small vehicles can drive directly to the farm. 2. From the Qiunglin Interchange of National Highway No. 2, head towards Zhu Dong. After crossing the Zhulin Bridge, pass through Zhu Dong City and Xia Gong Guan. Head towards Guansi along Taiwan Route 3, and after reaching Hengshan, turn right and continue for six kilometers. There is a parking lot in front of Leshan Hall, and signs will guide you after you get off the car.
