DASHANBEI Farm Introduction

The roads in this area mainly run along the Youluo River around Dushanbei Mountain. It is an important citrus production area in Hsinchu County. During early summer, a large number of fireflies gather here, making it the most famous spot for firefly watching in Hsinchu County. The Dushanbei Leisure Agriculture Area encompasses the surrounding Dushanbei of Hengshan Village, centered around the Lishan Hall. Dushanbei is known for its citrus production, with tourist orchards located on the slopes around Lishan Hall. From December to March each year, the abundant citrus harvest, along with the folk-flavored Hakka culture and the original charm of ancient trails, vividly showcase local characteristics. The establishment of the Dushanbei Leisure Agriculture Area aims to raise awareness among residents to preserve the rural culture and natural landscapes of the Hengshan area.

DASHANBEI Farm Travel Information

Address：No. 52, Dashaobei, Fengxiang Village, Hengshan Township, Hsinchu County

Transportation Methods：1. From the Guanxi Interchange on National Highway 2 North, head towards Zhuodong direction (Taiwan Highway 3) for sixteen kilometers to Hengshan → Turn left and proceed for about six kilometers towards Wanrui Forest Recreation Area → There is a parking lot in front of Leshan Hall, a 300-meter walk will take you to the orchard, and small vehicles can drive directly to the farm. 2. From the Xianglin Interchange on National Highway 2 North towards Zhuodong → After crossing the Zhulin Bridge, go through Zhuodong City and Xia Gongguan → Head towards Guanxi direction on Taiwan Highway 3 → After reaching Hengshan, turn right and go for six kilometers → Parking is available in front of Leshan Hall, with guided routes available upon disembarking.
