Daling Alley Trail Introduction
Located on the hillside of Shihfenpu Mountain, northwest of Bagua Mountain in the Hehuan Mountain National Scenic Area, the Daling Lane Trails No. 1 to No. 3 have a total length of approximately 1.95 kilometers. The trail surface consists of wooden sleepers, wooden plank paths, dirt and stone paths, and industrial roads, allowing visitors to enjoy beautiful scenery along the way. There are resting pavilions set up for long-distance views of the surrounding Bagua Mountain Range, as well as the famous native chicken town and tourist star fruit orchards. The three trails in the park are designed to plant different flower species to highlight their uniqueness: Trail No. 1 is the Osmanthus Trail; Trail No. 2 is the Camellia Trail; Trail No. 3 is the Azalea Trail. The natural ecology is rich and diverse, with the most notable feature being the frequent sighting of the Grey-faced Buzzard Eagle soaring above, and the eagle's cries echoing in the valleys. Additionally, Bagua Mountain is located on the butterfly migration route and habitat of the Ziva Butterfly. In order to strengthen butterfly conservation, the Huatan Township Office has planted nectar plants along the trails for butterflies to collect. Trail length: 1.95 kilometers. Walking time: 0.8 hours. Facilities: signboards, information boards, and benches.
