Daling Alley Trail Introduction
Located on the mountainside of Shihfenpu Mountain on the northwest side of Bagua Mountain in the Canshan National Scenic Area, the Daling Lane No. 1 to 3 hiking trails have a total length of about 1.95 kilometers. The trail surfaces consist of wooden sleepers, wooden boardwalks, earth and stone paths, and industrial roads, providing beautiful scenic views along the way. There are resting pavilions where visitors can enjoy the surroundings and get a distant view of the scenic areas around the Bagua Mountain Range, as well as the famous native chicken town and tourist star fruit orchards. The three trails in the park are each designed to plant different flower species to create their own characteristics: Trail No. 1 is the Osmanthus Trail; Trail No. 2 is the Camellia Trail; and Trail No. 3 is the Azalea Trail. The natural ecology is rich and diverse, and a notable feature is the frequent sightings of the gray-faced buzzard soaring overhead, with their calls echoing in the valleys. Additionally, Bagua Mountain is conveniently situated on the migratory path and habitat of the Tawny Coster butterfly, so the Huadan Township Office has planted nectar plants along the trails to strengthen butterfly conservation efforts. Trail length: 1.95 kilometers. Walking time: 0.8 hours. Facilities: signboards, information boards, and seating.
