Banking Mountain Trail (Xilai Garden Trail) Introduction
A small trail located within the Bagua Mountain Scenic Area features a guidepost and a vermilion arch at Entrance 1. The trail is composed of wooden sleepers, wooden plank paths, and dirt paths. Along the way, visitors can see natural forests as well as abandoned longan, lychee, and starfruit orchards. The trail is equipped with pavilions of various sizes, scenic platforms, stone tables, stone chairs, and bridges. At stopping points, visitors can admire steep cliff landscapes and get a view of the Dajhu Temple on Bagua Mountain. The overall environment is quiet and serene, with dense shade and rich, diverse ecology. Currently, it is less frequented by the public, making it a hidden gem. The trail is gentle and easy to walk, with a moderate distance, making it very suitable for hiking enthusiasts. Those who enjoy long-distance challenges can connect to a famous tourist ranch to interact with cattle and enjoy local dairy delicacies. Trail length: 1.21 kilometers. Walking time: 0.5 hours. Facilities include: pavilions, stone tables and chairs, bridges, wooden platforms, guideposts, and a parking lot at Dajhu Temple (for motorcycles, passenger cars, and buses).
