Futian Tong Blossoms Park Trail Introduction
Located on County Road 139 in the eastern district of Changhua City, with access via Fuxing Road, this area is home to a large number of Tung trees. Every April and May, when the Tung flowers bloom, walking along the wooden plank trail as the white petals fall like snow creates a beautiful scene. The Tung Flower Trail is a circular path, with the entrance area serving as a water source for the habitat restoration of fireflies. Further along is a section dedicated to native aromatic plants, such as jasmine and osmanthus. Next is a zone featuring Taiwanese native tree species, including the Formosan gum, camphor, and soapberry trees, which have mostly been planted by environmental volunteers. On the other side, there is a mountain trail that is linear in shape, surrounded by primarily native Taiwanese trees. Besides the Tung trees, there are also groves of fragrant nanmu, acacia, and camphor trees. Both trails are suitable for public use during the flower season for recreation. Trail length: 1.19 kilometers. Walking time: 0.5 hours. Facilities: Parking lot (for motorcycles and small cars), benches, portable toilets, information boards, and signage.
