Fo Mei Fairy Story Museum Introduction
The Fo Mei Immortal Story Museum is located in a cultural and creative tourism park in Xiluo Township, Yunlin County. Founded by the Fo Mei Buddhist Art Association in 2015, the chairman has deep roots in the local community for decades. This project aims to preserve the folk religious culture of Taiwan, promote the origins and stories of deities, and convey the significance of worshiping deities, while practicing the spirit of religious advocacy for goodness. Efforts are made to promote modern Buddhist aesthetic art in daily life, integrating religious craftsmanship with the cultural and creative industry to enhance local tourism development and stimulate discussions about travel in Yunlin, as well as create innovative opportunities in the cultural industry and invigorate regional business prospects. The park is divided into zones, with the main exhibition hall, the Fo Mei Immortal Story Museum, showcasing the exquisite "Museum of Religious Aesthetics," conceived and executed under the sincere vision of Chairman Lin Guozhen. The museum features various themed areas related to the stories of deities, allowing visitors to learn about different folk beliefs and the stories of deities: from the Five Sacred Teachers, the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, the Three Pure Ones, the Five Wealth Gods, Mazu, Guanyin Bodhisattva, to the Gods of the Sixty Jiazi. Visitors will feel as if they are experiencing the cosmic paradise, gaining a comprehensive understanding of various religious cultures and the stories of deities, while integrating the spirit of different religious beliefs and the significance of worshiping deities into the guided tours.
