Fo Mei Xian Story House Introduction
The Fo Mei Immortal Story Museum is located in a cultural and creative tourism park in Xiluo Township, Yunlin County. Established in 2015 by the Fo Mei Buddhist Art Society, the chairman has been deeply rooted in the community for decades, aiming to preserve Taiwan's worship culture, promote the origins and stories of deities, as well as the significance of prayers. The museum embodies the spirit of religious kindness and strives to promote modern Buddhist aesthetics in everyday life, integrating religious craftsmanship with the creative industry to invigorate local tourism, enhance discussions about Yunlin travel, and develop innovative opportunities in cultural industries, thereby stimulating regional business prospects. The park is divided into areas, with the main exhibition hall, the Fo Mei Immortal Story Museum, designed from concept to execution under the sincere vision of chairman Lin Kuo-Chen, presenting an exquisite "Museum of Religious Aesthetics." The walking route also includes various themed areas based on immortal stories, allowing visitors to learn about different folk beliefs and deity tales: from the saints of the Five Religions, the Three Emperors and Five Sovereigns, the Three Pure Ones, the Five Roads' Wealth Gods, Mazu, Guanyin Bodhisattva, to the deities of the Sixty-Year Cycle. Visitors feel as if they are entering a cosmic paradise, comprehensively understanding the various religious cultures and immortal stories from around the world while also incorporating the spirit of diverse religious beliefs and the significance of prayers into the guided tour.
