Fo Mei Fairy Tale Museum Introduction
The Fomei Immortal Story Museum is located in a cultural and creative tourism park in Xiluo Township, Yunlin County. Established in 2015 by the Fomei Buddhist Art Society, the chairman has been deeply rooted in the local community for decades. The museum aims to preserve Taiwan's worship culture, promote the origins and stories of immortals, and the significance of worshipping deities, while embodying the spirit of religious exhortation for good. It actively promotes modern Buddhist aesthetic art, allowing religious craft and cultural creative industries to integrate into modern life, thereby boosting local tourism development, enhancing discussions about travel in Yunlin, and creating innovative opportunities for cultural industry development to invigorate regional business. The park is divided into various zones, with the main exhibit hall, the Fomei Immortal Story Museum, meticulously planned and executed under the devout vision of Chairman Lin Guozhen, presenting an exquisite "Museum of Religious Aesthetics". The tour route includes various thematic areas based on immortal stories, allowing visitors to explore different folk beliefs and deity stories: from the saints of the Five Teachings, the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, the Three Pure Ones, the Five Wealth Gods, Mazu, and Guanyin Bodhisattva to the deities of the sixty-year cycle, giving tourists the impression of entering a cosmic paradise. This experience offers a comprehensive understanding of various religious cultures and immortal tales, while also integrating the spirit of different religious beliefs and the meaning of worship into the guided tours.
