Taixi Landmark: The Taixi Conch is located in the Taixi Sea Park at the central part of the western coast of Taiwan. It is the site of Taiwan's reclaimed land and one of the largest production and distribution centers for local seafood such as clams and oysters.

Taixi Landmark: The Taixi Conch is the largest spherical structure art in Taiwan. It was designed in 1992 by He Heng-hsiung, the dean of the National Taiwan University of Arts' Department of Fine Arts. The shell art piece is made up of over 5,000 shells, pieced together by local artists and volunteers using more than 50 different types of shells. It is also a highly popular photo spot.
