Sanshan Guowang Temple Introduction
The Three Mountains King is the collective name for the mountain deities of Jinxshan, Mingshan, and Dushan in Jieyang County, Guangdong Province. Later, during the reign of Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty, they were conferred the title of Three Mountains King. During the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty, the Three Mountains King was brought to Taiwan by a person from Guangdong, and since then has been worshipped in Taiwan, becoming one of the temples of the Hakka people.
