San Shan Guo Wang Temple Introduction
San Shan Guo Wang, or the Three Mountain Kings, refers to the deities of the three mountains: Jinshan, Mingshan, and Dushan, located in Jieyang County, Guangdong Province. They were later bestowed the title of San Shan Guo Wang by Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty. During the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty, the San Shan Guo Wang was brought to Taiwan by a person from Guangdong, and has since been worshipped in Taiwan, becoming one of the important temples for the Hakka people.
