Gangwei Shuntian Temple Introduction

The Davi Rescue Emperor Temple in Gangwei Shuntian is dedicated to the worship of Guansheng Emperor. It is said that the temple was built by pioneers from Zhangzhou, Zhao'an County in Fujian during the Kangxi period. After several renovations, the current appearance of the temple was established during the reconstruction in 1988. Every year on the 13th day of the 5th lunar month, the locals celebrate the Emperor's birthday with performances and worship.
