Linnei Taro Village Introduction
The fertile black soil produces a specialty of taro and is combined with the Wutu community (which means "black soil" in Taiwanese). The Linnei Taro Promotion Association promotes the use of the fertile black soil along the Zhuoshui River to produce taro, establishing it as a local brand. In addition to creative experiences, the taro ice cream shop has become a tourism highlight. The association also organizes the entertaining Water Snatching Festival, allowing families to experience the ancestral water-scooping culture through play.
