Paolung Paper Mill Introduction
The Linnei Old Township Office, filled with nostalgic charm, allows visitors to traverse countless old times of the Baolong Paper Factory. Surrounding it are the paper pulp troughs and huge iron sheds covered with green vines, seemingly narrating the past and present of the local paper industry under the blue sky and green land. In recent years, the paper factory has integrated AR technology to create an app that allows people to return to the former glory of the factory, making the past radiance feel present again. As the administrative center of Linnei Township during the Japanese colonial period, the office building within the park is the "Linnei Old Township Office" (originally the Mitsubishi Paper Company's office building), constructed in 1911 and now has a history of 106 years, with its main architecture long related to the historical significance of the paper industry.
