Baolong Paper Mill Introduction
The Linnei Old Township Office, filled with nostalgic charm, is surrounded by countless old times of the Baolong Paper Factory, with verdant vines creeping over the pulp troughs and massive iron sheds. It seems to narrate the past and present of the local paper industry under the blue sky and green ground. In recent years, the paper factory has integrated AR technology to create an app, allowing people to return to the factory's former glory, as if the past splendor is right before their eyes. As the administrative center of Linnei Township during the Japanese colonial period, the office building in the park is the "Linnei Old Township Office" (originally the Mitsubishi Paper Manufacturing Co. office), constructed in 1911. It has a history of 106 years and its main structure has long been associated with the historical significance of the paper industry.
