He Ping Green Grass Garden, Wanhua 402 Park Introduction
Park No. 402 is located at the intersection of Mengjia Avenue and Xiyuan Road, covering an area of 4,693 square meters and呈現三角形. The park was originally the site of the Renji Nursing Home and residential buildings. The surrounding environment was dilapidated, resulting in poor living conditions and adversely affecting the urban landscape. Therefore, the city government promoted urban renewal in Wanhua to establish the park. Aside from retaining existing healthy trees and plants, the park was designed with simple green beautification methods to improve the surrounding environment and provide grassy green spaces for public use. The park was officially opened on November 13, 2006. Inside the park, there are fragrance and herb garden facilities on the side of Xiyuan Road. Along Mengjia Avenue, seating areas and an approximately 256 square meter activity plaza have been set up between the park roads and historical buildings. Shrubs such as blue butterfly and sweet osmanthus are planted connecting the plaza to the building corridor. The park also features a spacious lawn area, as well as trees like banyan, nipa palm, mulberry, camphor, and coconut palm. The shade provided by the trees has become the best place for local residents to relax, socialize, and strengthen their bonds.
