Xichang Street Night Market Introduction

The 2010 film "Monga" was shot in many locations around Longshan Temple, Qingsha Lane, and Bopiliao, which in turn has spurred a tourism boom in the surrounding area. Xichang Street Night Market is located next to Longshan Temple, where early commercial activities were bustling. In recent years, the city government has reorganized the stalls, concentrating vendors in the center of the road. The stalls near Guangzhou Street mainly sell clothing and goods, while food vendors are concentrated along Xichang Street close to Guanglin Road. Famous snacks in the area include Tofu Pudding, Herbal Tea, Oil Rice, and Potstickers. When visiting Longshan Temple for prayer and blessings, be sure to take a stroll down Xichang Street! Xichang Qingsha Lane is located in Alley 224 of Xichang Street, next to the Xichang Street Night Market. It is a famous herbal lane where the strong scent of herbs fills the air as soon as you step in. There are several shops dedicated to selling various fresh medicinal plants and dried herbal leaves, which people can buy to brew at home. There are also homemade herbal drinks available on-site, such as herbal tea, bitter tea, and Roselle tea. It’s worth taking a trip to experience the ancient charm of this lane and enjoy a cup of rich herbal tea!
