In Wanhua, behind Longshan Market, the well-known Dihua Street Wanhua Clothing District is a must-visit street for ready-to-wear clothing. This area is also a hub for wholesalers from various places to purchase a wide variety of clothing. The origin of the Wanhua Clothing District can be traced back to the early development of Wanhua, coupled with the convenient transportation provided by the Wanhua Railway Station, creating a large clothing market. In the past, there were nearly 2,000 various clothing stores here, with a complete operation from design, pattern making, production to marketing, ensuring competitive quality and pricing. However, due to changes over the years, there are now only about 400 shops remaining in the clothing district, and the types of clothing have shifted predominantly towards women's apparel, accounting for about 80% of all stores, with the remaining 20% being children's clothing and custom team apparel.
