Monga Fashion District Introduction

When visiting Wanhua, the famous Dali Street clothing district behind the Longshan Market is a must-see destination for ready-to-wear fashion. This area is also a hub for wholesalers from various regions to source various apparel. The formation of the Mengjia clothing district is attributed to the early development of Mengjia, along with the convenient transportation offered by the Wanhua Railway Station, which has facilitated trade and resulted in a large clothing market. In the past, there were nearly 2,000 clothing stores here, offering a full range of services from design and sampling to production and marketing, all with competitive quality and prices. However, over time, the clothing district has dwindled to about 400 stores, with the types of clothing now skewing towards mature women's wear, which makes up about 80% of the shops, while children's wear accounts for the remaining 10%, along with custom team apparel. Men's clothing has become increasingly rare and is often combined with team apparel, distinguishing itself from Wufenpu, which targets younger women with a lively style. On ordinary days, the area is bustling with trucks and vehicles for restocking and deliveries, as well as some customers who specifically come to hunt for treasures. The variety of clothing and accessories can be overwhelming when you take a stroll through the area.
