Baishi Lake Suspension Bridge Introduction
The Baishi Lake Suspension Bridge is located within the Baishi Lake Leisure Agricultural Area in Neihu. The entrance to the suspension bridge is next to the parking lot of the Banshan Yan Kaizhang Shengwang Temple. It spans 116 meters, making it the first wide-span suspension bridge in Taipei City. The design uniquely incorporates the imagery of a dragon, connecting from the east 'Dragon Boat Rock' to Baishi Lake Mountain, Daluntou Mountain, Zhongyong Mountain, and Liyu Mountain, ending at the Yuanjue Waterfall. From above, it resembles a giant dragon coiled around, guarding the Baishi Lake area. Unlike typical suspension bridges with tall pylons, this bridge features a straight road design, creating an invisible suspension bridge without hanging cables, blending into the local pastoral scenery. Crossing the suspension bridge leads to the Baishi Lake Community, where a 100-meter-long Spring and Autumn Trail is visible, showcasing a dedicated flower cultivation area and the rich rural characteristics and ecological resources of the area. The Baishi Lake Community is also known as the most romantic community, with features like the 'Tongxin Lake,' 'Yongjie Pavilion,' and 'Couple Trees' symbolizing eternal love and a romantic atmosphere. On Banshan Road, numerous farms and strawberry gardens can be found, with the strawberry blooming season running from December to May, making it ideal for family outings, couples, or friends. The Baishi Lake Suspension Bridge connects to nearby mountain temples, orchards, forest trails, and wetland ponds, allowing visitors to enjoy beautiful flowers and the pleasant sounds of forest birds, making it a great place for leisure and recreation.
