Baishi Lake Suspension Bridge Introduction

The Baisih Lake Suspension Bridge is located within the Baisih Lake Leisure Agriculture Zone in Neihu. The entrance to the bridge is next to the parking lot of the Biyanjian Kaizhang Shengwang Temple. Spanning 116 meters, it is Taipei City's first large-span suspension bridge. It is uniquely designed to resemble a dragon backbone, connecting from the eastern "Dragon Boat Rock" to Baisih Lake Mountain, Dalun Mountain, Zhongyong Mountain, and Liyu Mountain, culminating at the Yuanjue Waterfall. From above, it resembles a giant dragon coiled protectively around the Baisih Lake area. Unlike typical suspension bridges with towering pylons, it features a straightroad design, creating an invisible suspension bridge without external cables, blending into the local pastoral scenery. After crossing the bridge, visitors enter the Baisih Lake community, where a 100-meter-long Spring and Autumn Trail showcases well-cultivated flower cultivation areas and the rich rural characteristics and ecological resources of the area. The Baisih Lake community is also known as the most romantic community, with elements such as "Lake of Conjoined Hearts," "Eternal Union Pavilion," and "Couple Trees" symbolizing eternal love and filled with a romantic atmosphere. Along Biyanshan Road, numerous farms and strawberry fields thrive, with the strawberry blooming season taking place from December to May, making it suitable for family, couple, or friend gatherings for a day trip. The Baisih Lake Suspension Bridge connects surrounding mountains, temples, orchards, forest trails, and wetlands, providing beautiful views of flowers and delightful bird songs, making it an excellent recreational spot for the public.
