Baishi Lake Suspension Bridge Introduction

The Baisih Lake Suspension Bridge is located within the Baisih Lake Leisure Agricultural District in Neihu, Taipei City. The entrance to the suspension bridge is next to the parking lot of the Bixia Rock Kaizhang Shengwang Temple. Stretching 116 meters, it is the first long-span suspension bridge in Taipei City. Designed with the imagery of a dragon backbone, it connects Yulong Rock in the east with Baisih Lake Mountain, Dalun Mountain, Zhongyong Mountain, and Liyu Mountain, ending at the Yuanjue Waterfall. Viewed from above, it resembles a giant dragon coiled around the area, guarding Baisih Lake. Unlike traditional suspension bridges with towering piers, it features a straight-road design, creating an invisible suspension bridge without hanging cables, blending seamlessly into the local pastoral landscape. After crossing the suspension bridge, visitors enter the Baisih Lake community, which boasts a 100-meter-long Spring and Autumn Trail that showcases well-developed professional flower planting areas alongside the rich rural characteristics and ecological resources of the area. The Baisih Lake community is also known as the most romantic community, with attractions like Tongxin Lake, the Yongjue Pavilion, and the Couples' Tree symbolizing eternal love and filled with a romantic atmosphere. There are many farms and strawberry fields along Bixia Road, where the strawberry blooming season lasts from December to May, making it a great spot for family outings, couples, or gathering with friends. The Baisih Lake Suspension Bridge connects surrounding temples, orchards, forest trails, and wetland lakes, offering a beautiful view of blooming flowers and the pleasant sounds of birds in the forest, making it a wonderful place for leisure and recreation.
