Baishe Lake Suspension Bridge Introduction
The Baishi Lake Suspension Bridge is located within the Baishi Lake Leisure Agricultural Area in Neihu. The entrance to the suspension bridge is next to the parking lot of the Bisha Rock Kaichang Shengwang Temple. It has a total length of 116 meters and is the first large-span suspension bridge in Taipei City. The design incorporates the imagery of a dragon skeleton, connecting from the east at "Dragon Boat Rock" to Baishi Lake Mountain, Daluentou Mountain, Zhongyong Mountain, and Liyu Mountain, ending at the Yuanjue Waterfall. From the aerial view, it resembles a giant dragon coiled around, guarding the Baishi Lake area. Unlike typical suspension bridges with towering bridge piers, it features a straight-path design, creating an invisible suspension bridge without exposed cables, blending seamlessly into the local pastoral scenery. After crossing the bridge, visitors enter the Baishi Lake community, where a 100-meter-long Spring and Autumn Path unveils carefully cultivated flower planting areas, as well as rich rural features and landscape ecology resources. The Baishi Lake community is also known as the most romantic community, with landmarks like "Heart Lake," "Eternal Union Pavilion," and "Couple Trees" symbolizing everlasting love, imbued with a romantic atmosphere. Along Bisha Road, there are many farms and strawberry gardens, with the strawberry blooming season occurring from December to May, making it a great place for families, couples, or friends to enjoy a day trip together. The Baishi Lake Suspension Bridge connects surrounding temples, orchards, forest trails, and wetland lakes, allowing visitors to appreciate beautiful flowers and the cheerful chirping of forest birds, making it an excellent destination for leisure and recreation.
