Baishe Lake Tongxin Pool Introduction
It is said that this is a spring formed by natural terrain. The inner circle of land and the outer circle of water work in harmony, symbolizing a couple's everlasting unity. Surrounding the ecological wetland and the waterfront platform emphasizes the importance of soil and water conservation. The Baishi Lake community was initially themed on "finding happiness," transforming what was once an abandoned spring into the heart-shaped ecological wetland spring known as "Tongxin Pool" and a resting pavilion by the pool called "Yongjie Pavilion." This design allows the ecological wetland and the waterfront platform to intertwine, cleverly matching the water and land, symbolizing the harmony of water and soil and the eternal unity of lovers. Couples visiting this romantic spot are sure to enhance their happiness. Nearby, the Gukui Pond was excavated by local farmer "Gukui Bo" to address the water supply issues for irrigating mountain fields. Gukui Bo gathered villagers to collectively dig this water-retaining ecological pond, which was later named Gukui Pond in his honor. (Source: Geotechnical Engineering Office)
