Sanma Art Center Introduction
The Mackerel Fish Art Center, located in the Daan Art District of Taipei, is the first gallery in the Dazhi redevelopment area. It annually curates 8 to 10 high-quality exhibitions and participates in important international art fairs with a professional curatorial approach. The center actively promotes the artists it represents and recognizes on international platforms, providing more opportunities for art exchange and constructing a complete history of the artists. It has received recognition for its efforts in promoting and practicing contemporary art, and in 2013, 2014, and 2016, it was selected by the British online media "Culture Trip" as one of the top ten contemporary galleries in Taipei. Currently, the center represents several contemporary artists from Taiwan and China, whose works are widely collected by museums and collectors. In addition to participating in the Asia-Pacific Art Fair, the gallery ventured into the London Global Art Fair for the first time in 2016, gaining attention from foreign media and attracting curators in London, leading to an invitation to participate in the START Art Fair organized by the Saatchi Gallery. In the currents of the times, we have consistently upheld integrity and professionalism, establishing genuine, mutually beneficial relationships with collectors and artists. In the future, the Mackerel Fish Art Center will continue to delve into contemporary art, cultivating highly promising creators with a forward-looking perspective and connecting with the international market with a macro vision.
