Dihua Sports Park Cross-Dike Scenic Platform Introduction
Dihua Sports Park's cross-dam scenic platform covers an area of 2,796 square meters and can accommodate up to 3,000 people, making it the second scenic platform in Taipei City. The scenic platform extends across Huanhe North Road to the riverside, providing an excellent view where visitors can enjoy the beauty of the Tamsui River and the fireworks display at Dadaocheng Wharf. Additionally, the platform offers facilities for parent-child activities and a stage area for events. At the entrance, a stone tablet stands with the inscription "Meteorological Renewal," symbolizing a glimpse into the future of Taipei City through land, sea, and air. The main structure is built with reinforced concrete columns and steel framing, while the railing combines steel and reinforced glass. The overall color scheme of the building is primarily white, and the platform features suspended arched steel cables and nighttime lighting, expected to become a new iconic entrance for Taipei City's western district.
