Dihua Sports Park Cross-Levee Scenic Platform Introduction
Dihua Sports Park's cross-dyke landscape platform covers an area of 2,796 square meters and can accommodate 3,000 people, making it the second landscape platform in Taipei City. The landscape platform extends across Huanhe North Road to the dyke, offering excellent views of the Tamsui River and the firework shows at Dadaocheng Wharf. Additionally, the platform features facilities for parent-child activities, water play, and an event stage. The ground surface of the cross-dyke landscape platform cleverly incorporates the early historical districts of Taipei: Dadaocheng, Bangka, and Taipei City. At the entrance stands a memorial stone inscribed with "Meteorological Reform," seemingly witnessing the future of Taipei City through land, air, and sea. The main structure of the platform is constructed with reinforced concrete columns and a steel frame, with railings made of steel and tempered glass. The overall color scheme of the building is white, with an arched steel cable suspended across the platform and nighttime lighting, aiming to become a new iconic entrance for the western district of Taipei City.
