Dihua Sports Park Cross-levee Landscape Platform Introduction
Dihua Sports Park's cross-dam landscape platform covers an area of 2,796 square meters and can accommodate up to 3,000 people, making it the second landscape platform in Taipei City. The platform extends across Huanhe North Road to the outer dam, offering excellent views of the Tamsui River, as well as fireworks shows at Dadaocheng Wharf. In addition, the platform features facilities for parent-child activities, landscape water play, and an activity stage. The ground of the cross-dam landscape platform cleverly incorporates the names of the three historical streets of Taipei: Dadaocheng, Bangka, and Taipei City. At the entrance, there is a monument engraved with "Meteorological Reform," seemingly witnessing the future of Taipei City through land, sea, and air. The main structure of the platform is built with reinforced concrete columns and a steel frame, and the railing is constructed with steel and tempered glass. The overall color scheme of the building is primarily white, and the platform is suspended with arched steel cables and equipped with nighttime lighting, expected to become a new symbolic entrance to the western part of Taipei City.
