Dihua Sports Park Cross-River Landscape Platform Introduction
Dihua Sports Park's cross-dike landscape platform covers an area of 2,796 square meters and can accommodate 3,000 people, making it the second landscape platform in Taipei City. The landscape platform extends across Huanhe North Road to the outer dike, offering excellent views. From the platform, visitors can enjoy the scenery of the Tamsui River and also watch the firework displays at Dadaocheng Wharf. Additionally, the platform features facilities for parent-child activities and an event stage area. The ground of the cross-dike landscape platform is cleverly designed to represent the three historical districts of Taipei: Dadaocheng, Bangka, and Taipei City. At the entrance, there is an inscription stone engraved with "Meteorological Reform," seemingly witnessing the foresight of Taipei's future through sea, land, and air. The main structure of the platform is constructed with reinforced concrete columns and a steel framework, with the railings made of steel and reinforced glass. The overall color of the building is white, and the platform is suspended with an arching steel cable, equipped with night lighting, which is expected to become a new iconic entrance in the western district of Taipei City.
