Sanhe Night Market Introduction

Sanhe Night Market, originally known as Central Night Market, is located near Taipei Bridge MRT Station. Compared to tourist night markets like Shilin and Shida, this place has a more local flavor, and within the night market, there are many popular old shops loved by locals for over thirty years. During the day, it operates as the San Chong Central Public Retail Market, and at night it transforms into the most lively place in San Chong. From hair accessories and jewelry to shoes, socks, and food stalls, the bustling scene of people and vehicles, along with the vendors' calls, creates a massive atmosphere filled with the true essence of a night market. In terms of food, there are many longstanding eateries over 30 years old. Aweng Wonton, Wanli Meatballs, Oyster Omelette, and Papaya Milk are classic flavors that locals have enjoyed since childhood. The prices are also more affordable compared to Taipei City just across the bridge, making it a great spot for food lovers. The most famous wonton soup is made from simmered pork bones, combined with chopped celery and red shallots, producing a rich and aromatic broth. The filling is carefully prepared, delivering a burst of flavor in every bite. (Intersection of Section 2, Sanhe Road and Central North Road and Section 1, Choshin Road)
