Sanhe Night Market Introduction
Sanhe Night Market, originally known as Central Night Market, is located near Taipei Bridge MRT Station. Compared to other tourist night markets like Shilin and National Taiwan University (NTU), it has a more local flavor. The night market is home to many popular eateries that have been cherished by locals for over thirty years. During the day, it operates as a public retail market in Sanchong, but at night it transforms into the liveliest place in Sanchong, bustling with food stalls selling hair accessories, shoes, and snacks. The atmosphere is vibrant, filled with the sounds of vendors and a large crowd. In terms of food, there are many well-established stalls that have been around for more than 30 years, such as A-Wen's Wonton in Salty Soup, Wan Li Meatballs, Oyster Omelets, and Papaya Milk, which are classic flavors cherished by locals since childhood. The prices are also more affordable than those across the bridge in Taipei City, making it a great place for foodies to explore. The most famous wonton soup features broth made from pork bones, enhanced with minced celery and red shallots, creating a rich flavor. The filling is meticulously handled, delivering a delightful taste with each bite, just enough to satisfy. (Intersection of Section 2, Sanhe Road, Central North Road, and Section 1, Choshen Road)
