MAJI Food and Joy - Yuanshan Flower Expo Pavilion Introduction
"MAJI2" is located near the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, nestled in a corner of the Taipei Expo Park's Yuanshan area, and officially opened in June 2013. It was meticulously planned by singer Harlem Yu and renowned designer Yeh Yu-ching, blending elements of food, original products, music, and art within a natural setting using containers and wooden barns, creating a lifestyle market space with an exotic atmosphere: a city amusement park. MAJI2 comprises six main areas: the Shen Nong Market, the International Snack Street, the Creative Market, exotic cuisine restaurants, a specialty shopping street, and a multifunctional performance space. The **Shen Nong Market** is a paradise for food lovers and home cooks, gathering delicious, safe, natural, and non-toxic ingredients. It features carefully selected products from exquisite small farmers across the country, many of which have been awarded agricultural badges from the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as high-quality small brand sauces that are hard to find in regular supermarkets, and introduces traditional ingredients from the Nanmen Market, along with cooked dishes that cater to Chinese tastes, allowing customers to take them home directly. **International Snack Street** features containers arranged in a row, paired with retro tables and chairs, creating a unique dining space. Whether it’s Taiwanese snacks or culinary delights from East and West, they can all be found in this exotic snack street. The **Creative Market** gathers handmade leather bags, original clothing, unique accessories, and various lifestyle design items, providing endless surprises and discoveries around every corner.
