Nanmen District 323 Introduction

Next to the lotus pond in Taipei Botanical Garden, it was built in the early Showa period of Japanese rule (1930s) and originally served as a teahouse, located at "No. 323, 6th Section, Nanmeng Town, Taipei City, Taipei Prefecture." It was later named "Nanmeng Town 323." Due to years of neglect, it gradually fell into disrepair. In recent years, with the assistance of renowned architect Kuo Chung-tuan and Professor Hiroshi Horikomi, it has been restored to its former Japanese architectural style. A Japanese dry landscape garden was designed by Mr. Motozumi Oguchi from Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
