Nanmen 323 Introduction
Located by the lotus pond in Taipei Botanical Garden, it was built in the early Showa period (1930s) during the Japanese occupation. Originally a tea house, it was located at "No. 323, Section 6, Nanjing Rd, Taipei City, Taipei Prefecture," and later named "Nanjing Rd 323." Due to years of neglect, it fell into disrepair, but in recent years, with the assistance of renowned architect Kuo Chung-tuan and Professor Kenji Horikomi, it has been restored to its original Japanese architectural style. Additionally, a Japanese dry landscape garden was designed by Mr. Motoharu Oguchi, a garden designer from Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
