Sanchong World Trade Center Park Introduction
To provide citizens with more parking space, the Parking Management Office has built an underground parking lot at the World Trade Park in Nangang District. In 2011, the park underwent simple landscaping, covering an area of about 1.2 hectares. It is located at Lane 106, Jingmao 2nd Road, Nangang District, with the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center to the east, the Nangang Software Park (Phase 1 and Phase 2) to the west, the Nangang Software Park (Phase 3) to the south, and the Chinatrust Commercial Bank headquarters building to the north. To provide a better recreational area, Chinatrust Commercial Bank invested funds in 2013 to adopt and donate to the renovation of the World Trade Park in Sanchong, transforming the originally simple green lawn into a park featuring trees that showcase seasonal colors. In spring, summer, and autumn, it displays a dreamy array of flowers, representing the transitions of the seasons with pastel pink, golden summer yellow, and autumn brown-red. The park offers a diverse landscape configuration, with a special misting system creating a cool and humid environment favored by many ferns, and various ferns are planted in the fern valley garden. Aquatic plants like willow and scirpus are planted by the shallow pool, and an elevated boardwalk provides visitors with an opportunity to enjoy the forest environment. The dry fountain plaza is particularly popular with children, while the evening is illuminated by both high and low landscape lights, making the space even more beautiful at night. The park features various trees such as camphor trees, chinaberry trees, fishwood, sweetgum, black maple, red maple, and cherry blossoms, which emit a significant amount of phytoncides, giving visitors a feeling of experiencing a forest bath and providing a "forest breathing" experience. In the midst of a busy and compact lifestyle, whether you are a nearby office worker or a visitor specifically coming here, you can enjoy visual and auditory pleasures, ensuring a worthwhile visit!
