Lehoo Park Introduction

Donghu Leisure Park is located next to Kang Le Street and Alley 61 of Kang Le Street, on the north bank of Neigou Creek. It was developed as a parking lot by the Public Works Department in 2003 and was transformed into a park in 2010, which officially opened in March 2011. The park covers an area of about 1 hectare and is a green, lush urban park, suitable for families to relax on weekends or in the afternoon. Donghu Leisure Park is adjacent to residential areas, with nearby Donghu Junior High School and Donghu Elementary School, and is about a 10-minute walk from Donghu MRT Station, making transportation very convenient. Upon turning from Donghu Road onto Kang Le Street, the large characters "Neigou Creek" appear on the left side of the green space, which is Donghu Leisure Park. Next to the park along the bank of Neigou Creek is the cherry blossom walkway, cultivated and maintained by the neighborhood leader and residents, featuring over a hundred trees including winter sakura and Wushe cherry blossoms, which bloom sequentially between February and March. Since 2014, the park has attracted large crowds during cherry blossom season, becoming a popular internet hotspot, often described as a paradise in the urban jungle. The park combines spaces for community activities with lush greenery. Facilities in the park include a children's playground for climbing and playing, rest pavilions for community gatherings, fitness equipment for relaxation and stretching, and a winding trail throughout the park, allowing visitors to enjoy the surrounding greenery.
