Wufen Suspension Bridge Ruins Introduction
It is one of the few remaining suspension bridge ruins over the Keelung River in Taipei City. The establishment of the suspension bridge served as an important transportation route for coal mining in the early Neihu area, and its ruins are a testament to the region's industrial development. This suspension bridge was the first dedicated coal transportation suspension bridge crossing the Keelung River in Neihu District. The bridge deck was removed during the 1970s and 1980s, and only the bridge pillars on the north riverbank remain. (Source: National Cultural Heritage Database)
