Wufen Suspension Bridge Ruins Introduction
This is one of the few remaining suspension bridge ruins over the Keelung River in Taipei City. The bridge was established as a transportation route for coal mining in the early Neihu area, serving as a historical testament to local industrial development. It was the earliest dedicated suspension bridge for coal transportation across the Keelung River in Neihu District. The bridge deck was dismantled during the 1970s and 1980s, and only the bridge pillars on the northern riverbank remain today. (Source: National Cultural Heritage Administration)
