Wufun Suspension Bridge Ruins Introduction
The remaining ruins of a suspension bridge in the Keelung River area of Taipei City represent one of the few remaining examples in the district. The bridge was established as a transportation route for transporting coal in the early Neihu area, serving as a historical testament to local industrial development. This suspension bridge was the first dedicated coal transportation bridge across the Keelung River in Neihu District. The bridge deck was dismantled during the 1970s and 1980s, and currently, only the bridge columns on the northern riverbank remain. (Source: National Cultural Heritage Administration)
