Wufen Suspension Bridge Ruins Introduction
This is one of the few remaining suspension bridge ruins over the Keelung River in Taipei City. The establishment of the suspension bridge served as an important transportation route for the early coal mining industry in the Neihu area, and its site is a testament to the historical development of local industries. This suspension bridge was the earliest dedicated coal transportation bridge crossing the Keelung River in the Neihu District. The bridge deck was dismantled in the 60s and 70s of the Republic of China, and only the bridge pillars on the north bank remain. (Source: National Cultural Heritage Database)
