Tilted Mailbox Introduction

In 2015, Typhoon Soudelor swept across Taiwan, and a red-green mailbox on Longjiang Road in Zhongshan District was affected by strong winds and falling signs, causing the base of the mailbox to bend and deform, resembling a person with a "tilted waist." This attracted many passersby who took photos with it, and it became popularly known as the "tilted waist mailbox," going viral online and turning into an alternative landmark for people to capture pictures. In addition to its tourism value and historical significance, after assessment and repairs by Chunghwa Post, the tilted waist mailbox still retains its original function of receiving mail.
