Leaning Mailbox Introduction

In 2015, Typhoon Soudelor swept across Taiwan, and a red and green mailbox on Longjiang Road in Zhongshan District was affected by strong winds and falling signs. The body of the mailbox bent and deformed to one side, resembling a person "leaning over." This unusual sight attracted many passersby to take photos with it, earning it the nickname "Leaning Mailbox," and it went viral online, becoming an alternative landmark for people to visit and take pictures. Besides its touristic value and historical significance, after evaluation and refurbishment by Chunghwa Post, the leaning mailbox still retains its original function of accepting mail.
