Slanting Mailbox Introduction

In 2015, Typhoon Soudelor swept across Taiwan, affecting a red and green mailbox located on Longjiang Road in the Zhongshan District. The strong winds and falling sign caused the mailbox to bend and deform at its waist, resembling a person with a "crooked waist," which attracted many passersby to take photos with it. It was affectionately dubbed the "crooked mailbox" and quickly became a popular photo spot on the internet. In addition to its tourism value and historical significance, the crooked mailbox still retained its original function for mail delivery after evaluation and renovation by Chunghwa Post.
