Leaning Mailbox Introduction
In 2015, Typhoon Soudelor swept across Taiwan, and the red and green mailbox located on Longjiang Road in Zhongshan District was affected by strong winds and fallen signs. The mailbox's pole bent and deformed to one side, resembling a person with a "tilted waist," which attracted many passersby to take photos with it. It was humorously nicknamed the "Tilted Mailbox" and became a viral sensation online, turning into an alternative photo landmark for the public. In addition to its tourism value and historical significance, the tilted mailbox was evaluated and repaired by Chunghwa Post, and it still retains its original function for mail delivery.
