Yongchunpei Ecological Wetland Park Introduction

Yongchun Ecological Wetland Park was originally the Yongchun Military Camp used by the army. After the troops relocated to Xindian in 2000, the area was left unused for many years and was changed to park land in 2016. It was then planned and designed by the Public Works Department of Taipei City Government to become the current Yongchun Ecological Wetland Park. Situated at the foot of the Four Beasts Mountain in Xinyi District, the park covers an area of about 4 hectares. It is the first metropolitan wetland ecological park that combines environmental education, ecological restoration, and historical value. Officially opened to the public in 2020, the park also has a representative animal, the Eastern Screech Owl, which was chosen through a vote and can often be spotted in the area. Keep an eye out while visiting the park, as you might catch a glimpse of the beautiful Eastern Screech Owl!
