Yongchunpei Ecological Wetland Park Introduction
Yongchun Wetland Park was originally the Yongchun Base used by the military. After the troops relocated to Xindian in 2000, it was left unused for many years. In 2016, it was re-designated as park land and was later planned and designed by the Public Works Department of Taipei City Government to become the current Yongchun Wetland Ecological Park. Yongchun Wetland Ecological Park is located at the foot of Silhouette Mountain in Xinyi District, covering an area of about 4 hectares. It is the first urban ecological wetland park that integrates environmental education, ecological restoration, and historical value. It officially opened to the public in 2020 and designated the Eastern Grass Owl as the park's representative animal, which can occasionally be spotted in the park. While visiting, keep an eye out for the beautiful figure of the Eastern Grass Owl!
