Yongchunbei Ecological Wetland Park Introduction

Yongchunbi Park was originally a military base known as Yongchunbi Military Camp. After the troops relocated to Xindian in 2000, the area was left unused for many years. In 2016, it was repurposed into park land and was later planned and designed by the Public Works Department's Geotechnical Engineering Office of Taipei City Government, becoming the current Yongchunbi Ecological Wetland Park. Situated at the foot of the Four Beasts Mountain in Xinyi District, the park covers an area of approximately 4 hectares. It is the first metropolitan wetland ecological park that combines environmental education, ecological restoration, and historical value. Officially opened to the public in 2020, the park also designated the Eurasian Owl as its representative animal, which is often spotted within the area. Visitors are encouraged to pay attention during their visits, as they might catch a glimpse of the beautiful Eurasian Owl!
