Yongchunpei Ecological Wetland Park Introduction

Yongchun Reservoir Park was originally the Yongchun Reservoir Military Camp used by the military. After the troops relocated to Xindian in 2000, the area was left unused for many years and was subsequently converted into parkland in 2016. It was then designed and planned by the Public Works Department of the Taipei City Government into the current Yongchun Reservoir Ecological Wetland Park. Located at the foot of Four Beasts Mountain in Xinyi District, the park spans approximately 4 hectares and serves as the first metropolitan wetland ecological park that integrates environmental education, ecological restoration, and historical value. Officially opened to the public in 2020, the park also selected the Eurasian Owl, which can often be seen in the area, as its representative animal. Visitors to the park should keep an eye out, as they might catch a glimpse of the beautiful Eurasian Owl!
