Yongchunpi Ecological Wetland Park Introduction

Yongchun Wetland Park was originally the Yongchun Military Camp used by the military. After the troops moved to Xindian in 2000, it was left unused for many years. In 2016, it was re-designated as park land and was then planned and designed by the Public Works Department of Taipei City Government to become the current Yongchun Wetland Park. Located at the foot of Four Beasts Mountain in Xinyi District, the park spans approximately 4 hectares and is the first metropolitan wetland ecological park that combines environmental education, ecological restoration, and historical significance. It officially opened to the public in 2020 and features the collared owl, which was voted as the park's mascot. While exploring the park, keep an eye out, and you might catch a glimpse of the beautiful collared owl!
