Baiji Hangxiu Temple Introduction
Baiji Xingxiu Temple is located on the hillside of Baiji Mountain in Sanxia. It is a branch temple of Xingtian Temple, also known as Sanxia Xingtian Temple or Sanxia Enzhu Gong Temple. The temple primarily worships Guandi (Lord Guan), and it represents the folk beliefs of a combined Confucian, Buddhist, and Taoist tradition. The architecture of the temple is magnificent, and it serves as a branch temple of Xingtian Temple in Taipei, attracting a large number of worshippers. It is one of the faiths of the local Hakka community. The geographical environment of Xingxiu Temple is excellent, with lush greenery; in spring, the mountains are covered with blooming azaleas, creating a stunning display, while in winter, plums blossom in a serene setting. The stairways on both sides of the temple lead to hiking trails on the back of the mountain. Strolling along these paths among the shade of trees and resting in pavilions formed by vine leaves brings a sense of peace and comfort; if one continues to the mountain peak, one can enjoy a beautiful view of entire pine forests and acacia forests.
