Bihua Temple Introduction
Bihua Temple is located in the Dong District of Sanchong District. It was founded in the second year before the establishment of the Republic of China and was rebuilt to its current scale in 1973. Bihua Temple is a three-story Buddhist architecture designed in the Northern style, featuring stone lions at the entrance, stone columns at the bottom of the main hall stairs, and carved stone blocks on both sides of the staircases, along with stone drum and door stop stones placed on either side of the gates. Today, Bihua Temple has transformed from an early temple dedicated to the worship of Shakyamuni Buddha into a folk religious temple that integrates Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. The deities enshrined here have unique appearances that differ from typical temples, making it a place worth visiting for worship and observation.
