Qishan Living Cultural Park Introduction
The Living Cultural Park, built from renovated school facilities, is listed as a heritage site alongside Qishan Elementary School, located just across the street. The school buildings included as heritage sites in the park are the Grand Auditorium and the Office and Classrooms for staff, both constructed during the Japanese colonial period in the ninth year of Taisho (1920). The facade of the Grand Auditorium features elegantly designed three-arch windows, with a wooden gabled roof at its peak. The entrance corridor has three arches, making it a simple yet beautiful building. The park offers various spaces for display, including a tourist information center, classroom café, Banana Story Museum, and Banana Culture Museum, as well as an alumni lounge for group gatherings. The park regularly hosts artistic performances, cultural product sales, and DIY experience activities, allowing visitors to enjoy bike rental services within the heritage site. Additionally, it offers serene surroundings, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.
