Le Geng Agricultural Indoor Orchestra Introduction
The Lokeng Agricultural Indoor Orchestra, with a focus on traditional Chinese music, is an outstanding local ensemble based in Yunlin County that has been cultivating musical arts for twenty years. Deeply rooted in the community while looking towards the international stage, it is one of the most proactive teams in promoting musical arts and culture in Yunlin. Founded in January 2001, it has operated as a "musical farmer," nurturing the local scene through ethnic instruments and organic, diverse creations and performances that integrate music into daily life, balancing tradition and innovation. Upon its establishment, the orchestra was awarded the "Excellent Support Team" by the National Cultural and Arts Foundation and has been selected twice as an "Outstanding Performing Team of Yunlin County." Their music performances feature international, national, and regional diversity, aiming to spread the seeds of artistic aesthetics and promote both macro and micro social aesthetic education, actively integrating musical arts into people’s lives. Through continuous efforts and improvements, the orchestra has grown more vibrant and promising after twenty years, looking forward to continuing to yield fruitful results in the realm of music and arts. To further deepen and activate the "Micro Library Corner," it was expanded into a space for reading and cultural exchanges, giving birth to "Read with Music!" "Read with Music" is the "most unique reading corner," where ethnic instruments and tables and chairs are interspersed, creating a relaxed and romantic atmosphere interwoven with music and literature. The Micro Library advocates that music and literature flow like streams in everyday life. "Read with Music" nourishes a small part, enriching every traveler who visits. In the art of time, words and notes intertwine and flow, making reading an everyday occurrence—welcome to enjoy a simple aesthetic life!
