Mr. Lobby Coffee Project Introduction
"Mr. Lobby, which began as a street coffee initiative in 2016, has evolved from a solo endeavor into a collective coffee project!" The journey of learning about coffee started in 2014 when Lobby, who was then working in performance arts in Macau, encountered various outstanding coffee shops in Hong Kong and Macau. He had the privilege to learn from these café owners about how to operate a coffee shop with a focused attitude. In 2016, he took his first step on the streets of his hometown, Yunlin, using the coffee tools he had acquired and a long table as the minimal unit of a café to put his coffee project into practice. By 2017, he established a physical location on Yun Zhong Street in Douliu, Yunlin, providing more complete delicious coffee and brand services, while continuing to engage with various cafés in Hong Kong and Macau to learn about coffee bean roasting. He also joined the Douliu Coffee Roasting Society in the birthplace of coffee roasting in Taiwan, Yunlin. In 2018, new partners joined, and they attempted to consolidate themselves into Mr. Lobby Coffee Project and Mr. Lobby Coffee Roastery, focusing on making more attentive and delicious coffee, while also ensuring the best roasting flavors.
