Mr. Lobby Coffee Project Introduction
"Mr. Lobby, which started in the streets in 2016, has transformed from a solo endeavor into a collective coffee project!" The journey of learning about coffee began in 2014 when Lobby, who worked in performance arts in Macau, encountered outstanding cafes in the Hong Kong and Macau regions and had the privilege to learn from various cafe owners about how to run a cafe with a focused attitude. In 2016, starting from the streets of his hometown, Yunlin, he took the coffee tools he had on hand and began his coffee project using a long table as the smallest unit of a cafe. By 2017, he established a physical location on Yunzhong Street in Douliu, Yunlin, providing a fuller range of delicious coffee and brand services, while continuing to exchange and learn about coffee bean roasting with various cafes in Hong Kong and Macau. He also joined the Douliu Coffee Roasting Society in Yunlin, the birthplace of coffee roasting in Taiwan. In 2018, new partners joined, and they attempted to consolidate under Mr. Lobby Coffee Project and Mr. Lobby Coffee Roastery, focusing on creating delicious coffee and overseeing the best roasting flavors.
