Mr. Lobby Coffee Project Introduction
"Mr. Lobby, which started on the streets in 2016, has transformed from a solo endeavor into a community-driven coffee project!" The journey of learning about coffee began in 2014 when Lobby, who was then working in performance arts in Macau, discovered numerous outstanding cafes in the Hong Kong and Macau regions and had the privilege of learning from various cafe owners how to establish a cafe with a focused attitude. In 2016, starting in his hometown of Yunlin, Lobby used the coffee tools he had, setting up a long table as the smallest unit of his cafe, and began to implement the coffee project. In 2017, he confirmed the establishment of a physical location at Yun Zhong Street in Douliu, Yunlin, where he could offer a more complete array of delicious coffee and brand services, while continuing to learn about coffee bean roasting from various cafes in Hong Kong and Macau, also joining the Douliu Coffee Roasting Association in Yunlin, the birthplace of coffee roasting in Taiwan. In 2018, new partners joined, and they attempted to consolidate their efforts under Mr. Lobby Coffee Project and Mr. Lobby Coffee Roastery, focusing on creating more delightful coffee and ensuring the best roasting flavors.
