Shun Tian Temple, Liren Village, Huwei Introduction
Fuli Zhuangyan Emperor Temple, also known as Shuntian Temple in Huwei, enshrines Kuan Ti (Guandi), the God of War, along with Prince Guan Ping and General Zhou Cang. The original statue of Kuan Ti was housed in a private residence of the Li family in the rear village of Huwei. In 1956, a new temple was built and named Shuntian Temple. Every year, on the 24th day of the 6th month of the lunar calendar, a birthday celebration for Kuan Ti is held along with a procession for peace and safety.
