Huwei Tianhou Temple Introduction
Yuli Erma, the emergency rescue deity of Huwei Tianhou Temple, is commonly referred to by locals as Erma Temple. The Mazu worship comes from Tainan's Shanshang District Tianhou Temple "Yuli Tian Shang Sheng Mu" (not Lin Mo Niang). During the Ghost Festival on the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month, the altar for the Huwei Zhongyuan Festival is set up in front of Tianhou Temple, attracting many domestic and international tourists.
