Xiaozu Port Introduction
In the bustling Taipei Port, there lies a secluded little fishing harbor that feels like a hidden paradise. Known as the Xia Guzi Fishing Port, this place is an obscure gem in Bali, located within the designated area of Taipei Port. It is classified as a Type II fishing port, primarily housing fishing boats from nearby Taoyuan and Tamsui. In recent years, the cycling tourism along the banks of the Tamsui River has flourished. The Bali Left Bank Bicycle Path stretches approximately 16 kilometers from the mouth of Guanyin River to Xia Guzi Fishing Port, passing through the Guandu Bridge, Bali Ferry Station, Bridal Plaza, and reaching the Waziwei Ecological Protection Area and Shisanhang Museum of Archaeology. It beautifully combines culture, ecology, and historical sites, making it a rare bicycle oasis in the urban jungle. At Xia Guzi Fishing Port, one can see traditional blue-hulled boats, and due to its westward orientation, it has become one of the best spots for sunset viewing. As the sun sets, accompanied by the west coast expressway crossing the port, the sea reflects the tranquil fishing harbor, creating a stunning, breathtaking sunset show for those who visit this small fishing port.
