Xiacuzi Fishing Port Introduction
Within the bustling Taipei Port, there lies a small fishing harbor that feels like stepping into another realm. This place, known as Xiaquzi Fishing Port, is a little-known secret in Bali. Located within the Taipei Port Special District, it is classified as a Type II fishing port, where many operating vessels from neighboring Taoyuan and Tamsui are docked. In recent years, cycling tourism along the banks of the Tamsui River has thrived. The Bali Left Bank Bicycle Path runs approximately 16 kilometers from the mouth of Guanyin River to Xiaquzi Fishing Port, passing by landmarks such as the Guandu Bridge, Bali Ferry Terminal, Wedding Plaza, and the Wazihwei Ecological Reserve, as well as the Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology, making it a rare bicycle oasis amidst the urban jungle, integrating culture, ecology, and historical sites.
