Ankang Light Rail's most prominent landmark, the longest cable-stayed bridge in Taiwan.

Address:Anxin Bridge, Xindian District, New Taipei City 231

Anxin Bridge Introduction

The Ankeng light rail is approximately 7.5 kilometers long, connecting the Ankeng area with the New Taipei City downtown, featuring 9 stations along the route. It runs from K1 Shuangcheng Station to K9 Shijiazhuang Station, where passengers can transfer to the Circular Line of the Taipei Metro. The most striking structure along the Ankeng light rail is the Anxin Bridge, which spans the Xindian River. This single-tower, asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge stands 130 meters tall and measures 502 meters in length, making it the longest cable-stayed bridge on the island. The magnificent structure of the Anxin Bridge allows the Ankeng light rail trains to cross the Xindian River smoothly, and its soaring white tower has become a new landmark in the Xindian area. It complements the colorful cable-stayed bridges of the Circular Line upstream and downstream, as well as the elegantly curved Xindian Sunshine Bridge, collectively forming the skyline of the southern New Taipei region along with the distant Taipei 101. In the future, as the train travels across the Anxin Bridge, the truss bridge will gradually illuminate in the direction of the train's travel, creating a unique charm when viewed at night.
