Anxin Bridge Introduction
The Ankang Light Rail has a total length of approximately 7.5 kilometers, connecting the Ankang area with the Xindian urban area. Along the route, there are 9 stations, running from K1 Shuangcheng Station to K9 Shijizhang Station, where transfers to the MRT Circular Line are available. The most prominent building along the Ankang Light Rail is the Anxin Bridge, which spans the Xindian River. This single-tower asymmetric cable-stayed bridge has a tower height of 130 meters and a length of 502 meters, making it the longest cable-stayed bridge for railways in Taiwan. The magnificent structure of the Anxin Bridge allows the Ankang Light Rail trains to cross the Xindian River smoothly. The towering white bridge tower has become a new landmark in the Xindian area, illuminating the skyline of the New Taipei South District alongside the colorful rail bridges of the Circular Line and the elegantly arched Xindian River Sunshine Bridge. In the future, as trains pass over the Anxin Bridge, the truss bridge will gradually illuminate in the direction of the train's movement, creating a unique charm when viewed at night.
