Xindian Shijizhang Historical Building Park Introduction
The Shilin Fourteen Zhang Historical Architecture Park is located at the northwest corner of the Fourteen Zhang Historical Park, near the intersection of the Circular Line of the Taipei Metro and the Ankang Light Rail at the Fourteen Zhang Station. Historically, Fourteen Zhang was an important agricultural production area in the middle reaches of the Xindian River, attracting multiple families to cultivate the land since the mid-18th century. In accordance with the construction plan of the Circular Line, the city government relocated ancient houses scattered throughout Fourteen Zhang to establish the Fourteen Zhang Historical Architecture Park, which is the largest reconstructed architectural complex in New Taipei City.
