Da'an Gan Quan Brewery Story House Introduction
About the Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story House The Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story House was established in 2014 and is located in Daan District, Taichung City. In 2019, it launched its own brand, Anbes, whose products not only participated in domestic alcoholic beverage competitions but were also sent abroad for international competitions. Many of its products received outstanding accolades, including: - 53% Anbes Aged White Wine - awarded a three-star rating at the International Taste Institute (Belgium iTQi) - 16.8% Anbes Cellar Plum Wine - awarded a two-star rating at the International Taste Institute (Belgium iTQi) - 52% Haiquan Zhenlu - awarded a two-star rating at the International Taste Institute (Belgium iTQi) - 52% Haiquan Zhenlu - awarded certification as an excellent alcoholic product by the Ministry of Finance In addition to white wine, many fruit wines favored by female friends have also been introduced, brewed using pure fruit, each with a rich natural fruit aroma. In 2022, we launched "Gancup" Citrus Wine, the first fruit sweet wine collaboratively developed by industry, government, and academia in Taiwan, using carefully selected tangerines and ponkans from the Shigang Farmers’ Association. The light orange liquid emits a refreshing citrus aroma, and its sweet and sour flavor is widely loved. Upon visiting the Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story House, you will find that it is surrounded by wind turbines, a unique landscape belonging to the coastal area. Right next to the Story House is an ecological park and Daan Beach, and to promote the beauty and cultural history of the coastal area, we have launched the Jia An Pu gift box, which combines local history, scenery, and products to create three different flavored wines. Not only is it the best souvenir, but we also hope to take you on a light travel adventure through Dajia, Daan, and Waipu with these wines. Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story House's brewing insistence and philosophy Inheriting the brewing wisdom of the previous generation, Daan Gan Chun has been operating with the "solid-state fermentation distillation" method for 20 years. We honestly and steadfastly follow our own path, and the wines we produce contain no artificial alcohol or flavoring, allowing you to taste the purest natural flavors. We insist on slowly fermented and carefully crafted high-quality local Taiwanese wine. Unlike other large wineries that focus on production and sales, we redirect our focus back to Taiwan’s land and culture, dedicated to promoting local wine culture. Locals brew with local crops; we collaborate with Dajia's green farmers on sorghum, Daya's surplus wheat, Waipu's small farmers' grapes, and Dongshi's yellow ripe plums. In addition to local ingredients, our brewing process is characterized by careful craftsmanship, ensuring that every bottle of wine has its own unique flavor, allowing you to taste its vitality in every sip. At the same time, we hope that this ancient brewing craft can take root locally and continue to pass on the spirit of brewing artisans and local agricultural culture. Visiting the Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story House At the Story House, you can learn about the process of traditional solid-state pure grain brewing, its differences from modern brewing, and participate in wine tasting experiences. Through a five-step tasting process, you can deeply experience the layers of different wines, paired with various snacks to enjoy more flavors.
