Da'an Gan Chun Brewing Story House Introduction

**About the Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story Museum** The Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story Museum was established in 2014 and is located in the Daan District of Taichung City. In 2019, it launched its own brand, Anbeis. Its products not only participate in domestic liquor professional evaluations but are also sent abroad for international competitions, achieving notable successes as follows: - 53% Anbeis Aged White Wine won the Three-Star Award at the International Taste Institute (iTQi) in Belgium. - 16.8% Anbeis Cellar Plum Wine won the Two-Star Award at the International Taste Institute (iTQi) in Belgium. - 52% Haiquan Zhenlu won the Two-Star Award at the International Taste Institute (iTQi) in Belgium. - 52% Haiquan Zhenlu also received certification from the Ministry of Finance for superior liquor products. In addition to white wine, they also offer many fruit wines loved by women, crafted purely from real fruits, with each fruit wine exuding a rich natural fruit aroma. In 2022, they launched "Guanbei," a citrus wine, which is the first fruit sweet wine in Taiwan developed through collaboration between production, government, and academia. It is brewed using carefully selected tangerines and ponkan from the Shigang Farmers' Association. The light orange liquid emits a fragrant citrus scent and its refreshing sweet-and-sour taste is widely loved. Visiting the Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story Museum, one will find surrounding wind turbines, a unique landscape of the coastal area. Next to the museum is an ecological park and the Daan Beach. To promote the beautiful scenery and cultural history of the coastal area, they have introduced the Jia An Pu gift box, featuring the local history, sights, and products, brewing three different flavored wines. These not only serve as excellent souvenirs but also aim to take you on a light trip through Taichung's Dajia, Daan, and Waipu flavors. **Daan Gan Chun Brewing Philosophy and Commitment** For 20 years, Daan Gan Chun has adhered to the brewing tradition of "solid-state fermentation distillation" inherited from previous generations. They sincerely and steadfastly walk a path true to themselves, ensuring their wines contain no added artificial alcohol or flavoring, allowing drinkers to enjoy the purest natural flavors. They are committed to slowly aged and carefully crafted high-quality local Taiwanese wines. Unlike large wineries that focus on quantity and sales, Daan Gan Chun places its vision back on the land and culture of Taiwan, dedicated to promoting local wine culture. Local people brew wine using local crops, such as sorghum contracted with local farmers in Dajia, excess wheat from Daya, grapes from small farmers in Waipu, and ripe plums from Dongshi, among others. In addition to local ingredients, they carefully brew each bottle of wine with a slow and rich craftsmanship, constantly researching to ensure each wine has its unique flavor, allowing every sip to taste its vitality. At the same time, they hope that this ancient brewing craft will take root locally and continue to pass on the spirit of the brewing artisan and the local agricultural culture. **Visiting the Daan Gan Chun Brewing Story Museum** At the museum, you can learn about the ancient solid-state pure grain brewing process and its differences from modern winemaking through guided tours, as well as participate in tasting experiences. Through a five-step tasting process, visitors can deepen their experience of the various layers of different wines, complemented by different snacks to savor more flavors. For groups of 10 or more, you can also reserve a DIY local wine activity, selecting seasonal crop ingredients paired with pure brewed rice wine, allowing you to enjoy the fun of brewing your own wine and taste your exclusive fine drink. **Visiting Information** - **Business Hours:** Monday to Sunday, 09:00 - 18:00 - **Address:** No. 330, Zhongshan North Road, Daan District, Taichung City - **Reservation Hotline:** Join the official Line ID: @abas, or send a private message to the Facebook fan page to make a reservation - **Fees:** - Under 10 people: Free guided tour - 10 or more people: - Free guided tour + tasting: NT$300/person - Guided tour + tasting + DIY winemaking: NT$450/person Images and text provided by the Taichung City Industry Story Museum Development Association.
