Da'an Gan Chun Brewing Story House Introduction
Dayan Gan Chun Brewing Story House was established in 2014, located in the Da'an District of Taichung City. In 2019, it launched its own brand, Anbes, whose products not only participated in domestic alcohol competitions but also entered international contests abroad, achieving multiple accolades such as: 53% Anbes Aged White Wine, awarded with three stars at the International Taste Institute (Belgium iTQi); 16.8% Anbes Aged Plum Wine, awarded with two stars at the International Taste Institute (Belgium iTQi); and 52% Haiquan Zhenlu, awarded with two stars at the International Taste Institute (Belgium iTQi), along with certification for excellent alcoholic products by the Ministry of Finance. In addition to white wine, it also offers various fruit wines favored by women, crafted using pure fruit, each variety full of natural fruit aroma. In 2022, we launched "Gan Bei" citrus wine, the first fruit sweet wine developed collaboratively by Taiwan's production, government, and academia, made using carefully selected ponkan and tangerines from the Shigang Farmers Association. The light orange liquid exudes a fragrant citrus scent, and its refreshing sweet and sour flavor has gained much love from everyone. When you arrive at Dayan Gan Chun Brewing Story House, you'll find yourself surrounded by wind turbines, a unique scenery of the coastal area. Next to the story house is an ecological park and the Da'an Beach. To promote the beautiful scenery and cultural history of the coastal area, we also launched the Jia Anpu gift box, the most local wine gift that combines local history, landscapes, and products, creating three different flavored wines. Besides being the best souvenir, we hope to take you on a light journey through Taichung's Dajia, Da'an, and Waipu with our wines. Dayan Gan Chun Brewing Story House adheres to its brewing philosophy and principles. Inheriting the brewing wisdom of the older generation, Dayan Gan Chun has been operating for 20 years with the method of "pure grain solid-state fermentation and distillation." We honestly and steadfastly follow our own path, ensuring that our products do not contain artificial alcohol or essence, allowing you to taste the pure, natural flavors while adhering to slow maturation and high-quality Taiwanese locally brewed spirits. Unlike other large wineries that focus on quantity and sales, we turn our attention back to the land and culture of Taiwan, dedicated to promoting local wine culture, fermenting with local crops—working with Dajia young farmers for sorghum, surplus wheat from Daya, grapes from Waipu, yellow-ripened plums from Dongshi, etc. In addition to local materials, we painstakingly brew each bottle using a slow and thoughtful process, continually researching to ensure that each type of wine has its unique flavor, letting you taste its life force in every sip. At the same time, we hope that this ancient brewing craft can take root in the locality and continue to pass down the spirit of winemaking artisans and the agricultural culture of the area.
