Sunset Viewing Guide ■ The large swimming pool (not exclusive to guests) is open from 8 AM to 5 PM every summer (June to August). Full ticket price: Original price $200, discounted price $100 (can offset park consumption by $100). Free admission: 1. Infants under 110 cm free (must be accompanied by a parent with ticket purchase). 2. Holders of disability certificates free (includes one necessary companion). Open to: This facility is open to the public. ■ The beach is open for water activities from March to October (7 AM to 6 PM). ■ Surfing and kitesurfing are available from March to December (7 AM to 6 PM). Coastal recreation areas are important leisure spots for the public. Due to the increasing demand for water recreation activities, the Taichung City Government's Tourism Bureau has conducted a comprehensive investigation and assessment of the coastal waters near Daan Beach to ensure the safety of public water recreational activities. Following the assessment, it was opened for surfing and beach activities starting August 1, 2013, which include beach water play, surfing, and kitesurfing. For safety reasons, swimming is not recommended due to the unstable levels of E. coli in the waters near Daan Coastal Park.
