Haihui Temple Introduction

Haihui Temple, built in the 4th year of the Showa era (1928), is dedicated to the Western Three Saints: Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, as well as Sakyamuni Buddha. In front of the temple, there are several large and dense osmanthus trees, and the fragrance of osmanthus wafts through the air, creating an ethereal experience. The temple is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a canyon in front, providing a distant view of Hsinchu City and the coastal area of Xiangshan and Zhunan, where fishing lights twinkle, evoking a sense of transcendence and escape from the mundane.
