Haihui Temple Introduction

Huihua Temple, built in the 4th year of the Showa era (1928), enshrines the Amitabha Buddha, Avalokiteshvara, Mahasthamaprapta, and Shakyamuni Buddha. In front of the temple are several large and lush osmanthus trees, filling the air with the sweet fragrance of osmanthus blossoms that drifts with the wind, creating the feeling of being in a fairyland. The temple is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a canyon in front, offering a distant view or nighttime gaze of Hsinchu City, Xiangshan, and Zhunan along the coast, where the twinkling lights create an enchanting escape from the mundane.
