Haihue Temple Introduction

Haihui Temple, built during the 4th year of the Shōwa era (1928), enshrines the Three Saints of the Western Paradise: Amitabha Buddha, Avalokiteśvara, and Mahasthamaprapta, as well as Shakyamuni Buddha. In front of the temple, several large and dense osmanthus trees exude a fragrant scent that drifts with the wind, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The temple is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a gorge in front, offering a view of Hsinchu City in the distance or a night view of the coastal areas of Xiangshan and Zhunan, where the fishing lights twinkle, providing an escape from the mundane world.
