Ten Thousand Buddha Temple Introduction
Wanfo An is a natural rock cave, where practitioners have been practicing since before the Republic of China era. It was renovated in the second year of the Showa period (1917) and renamed Wanfo An in the eighth year of the Showa period (1933). In the 71st year of the Republic of China, it was completely demolished and rebuilt. The cave serves as a shrine, and beneath the Buddha niche, natural spring water flows out, known for its sweet and cool quality, providing a refreshing sensation. Another distinctive feature is the adorable group of little monks; whether welcoming visitors or performing tasks like fetching water and sweeping, each of them brings a warm sense of familiarity.
