Tianzhong Forest Park Introduction
Situated at the southern foothills of Bagua Mountain, Tianzhong Forest Park features recreational facilities such as sports fields and children's play areas. The park offers scenic trails built along the mountains, allowing visitors to enjoy phytoncides while taking in fantastic views—truly a forest park. The highlight of Tianzhong Forest Park is the circular hiking trail within the park, approximately 3.5 kilometers long, taking about 2 hours to complete. Although the trail isn't very long, the varied terrain along the way makes it an excellent choice for both leisure walks and physical training. The trail entrance starts with a gently sloping cement path, surrounded by shade from trees, making the climb more enjoyable. As the path gradually ascends to the ridgeline, the surrounding scenery opens up to stunning views. Continuing along the trail, visitors reach the highest point, Zaojue Pavilion, where they can overlook the entire Tianzhong Township, enjoy sunrises and sunsets, and on clear days, even see the Zhuoshui River and the Taiwan Strait. The fatigue from the steps along the way dissipates here. If you still crave more after completing the circular hiking trail, you can explore the nearby Tea Aroma Trail, Evergreen Bicycle Path, or take the wooden plank path to Chishuiqi Scenic Area, continuing to enjoy the serene atmosphere of the forest bath.
