Tianzhong Forest Park Introduction
Tianzhong Forest Park, located at the southern foothills of Bagua Mountain, not only features recreational facilities such as a sports plaza and children's playground, but also offers a hillside trail where visitors can enjoy phytoncides and breathtaking views, making it a true forest park. The park's highlight is the circular hiking trail, which is approximately 3.5 kilometers long and takes about 2 hours to complete. While the route is not long, the diverse terrain along the way makes it an excellent choice for both leisure walks and physical training. The trail's entrance consists of a gentle cement surface, and the surrounding shade from trees enhances the hiking experience. As the trail gradually ascends to the ridge, the scenery opens up, providing excellent views. Continuing along the trail leads to the highest point, the Zaojue Pavilion, where visitors can overlook the entire Tianzhong Township, enjoy the sunrise and sunset, and on clear days, even see the Zhuoshui River and the Taiwan Strait. The fatigue from hiking up the stairs dissipates here. If you’re not yet satisfied after completing the circular hiking trail, you can also explore the nearby Tea Aroma Trail, Evergreen Bicycle Path, or take the boardwalk to the Chi Shuiqi Park, to continue enjoying the serene atmosphere of the forest bath.
